In an era when the world was watching Napoleon Bonaparte's victories, Fath Ali Shah requested the great French commander to send a group of the best merchants and specialists to him. Among the people who were sent to Iran by Napoleon, the skill of two Swiss brothers in designing and making watches was such that the Qajar Shah trusted only them to repair his favorite watch, and after that, in praise of their art, he gave them the title of watchmaker. When the older brother returned to Switzerland, Agha Baba became the first master in the court and decided to build a new family for himself. This was the beginning of the long dynasty of watchmakers. At the end of the Qajar era, the watchmakers found the royal arena too small and narrow to understand and comprehend their art, and by choosing authenticity over wealth, they separated their path from the court. That same year, the first watch shop was opened in Tehran market and until the early seventies, it kept the whole family under a common name. Thus, the precious legacy of "Agha Baba" was inherited from father to son. Meanwhile, Hatif, the third son of Haj Hadi Watchmaker, who was fascinated by his ancestral profession, came up with a new plan for his old family business. He removed the antiquity from the authenticity of the watchmaker's jewelry with modern delicacy and in 2831, the first Hatif Watchmaker store was launched like a fresh life on the veins of the family business. New watchmaker products entered the market and shone, and Hatif gained experience alongside his brand. Now Hatif Watchmaker's jewelry is making its way among today's modern looks and is moving towards the future without stopping.

Hatif Watchmaker's online store was opened on the first day of Farvardin 1396 and the first online sale of this collection happened on the eighth of Farvardin of the same year from the holy city of Mashhad.
